An insurance configurator that enables end customers to take out insurance independently.

We were able to implement the first "STIP" application for ERV back in 2006. The Booking Engine followed shortly afterwards in 2008.

Ten years later, in 2018, the booking engine was completely modernized and brought up to the latest technical standards.

Customized software

Europäische Reise Versicherung (ERV) has been a loyal customer of ours for many years. Together, we have implemented a number of challenging projects in recent years.

The booking engine is one of the most exciting projects, as it allows end customers to take out insurance online according to their own needs.

Intelligent, server-side validation of customer input is used to determine exactly which insurance policy is best suited to the customer's requirements.

Designed to be user-friendly

In the summer of 2021, the booking engine underwent its last major facelift with the redesign of the entire application.

During this sub-project, the entire front end accessible to end customers was redesigned and aligned with ERV's new design guidelines.

In addition, many functions were optimized and automated as much as possible.

Boking process in various languages

This includes clear user guidance through to the effective purchase process via the PostFinance Checkout payment service provider and subsequent automated dispatch of the completed insurance policy by email.

In addition, the ERV booking engine was developed in four languages in order to reach all potential customers throughout Switzerland.

Admin backend

The booking engine also has a feature-rich backend, which enables ERV to independently manage all possible product configurations and other settings via a graphical user interface.

ERV partners and employees can be recorded and managed via the backend with various user-specific roles.

Every day, the booking engine automatically delivers a large collection of completed insurance policies to ERV for internal processing.

Partner API

The Partner API booking engine was developed at the end of 2021 and enables ERV partner companies to take out ERV insurance offers for their customers conveniently and extremely quickly using a RESTful or web API.

In the first further development of the API in fall 2022, a powerful offer feature was added to the Partner API.

This enables API users to send their own customers insurance quotes by e-mail within a few seconds, thereby increasing sales figures in the long term.

In addition, numerous manual processes that would have had to be carried out by ERV employees are no longer necessary.

This feature has reduced the time it takes to create a quote from several working days to less than five minutes, saving resources at all ends.
